Dicky Sofjan, Ph.D. is Core Doctoral Faculty at the Indonesian Consortium for Religious Studies (ICRS), Graduate School, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). He is also Director and International Board Member for Globethics.net, a global ethics organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. For more than 10 years, Dr. Sofjan was also a member of the Educational Exchange Committee (EEC) of AMINEF/Fulbright. He has been an invited speaker at the White House Interfaith Leaders’ Program, the European Union, the EU Parliament, the G20 Interfaith Forum, the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR), the International Conference on Cohesive Societies (ICCS), USINDO, Globethics.net, etc. His articles and books have been published in Journal of Religions, Review of Faith and International Affairs, APN Science Bulletin, Al-Jami’ah, Al-‘Ilm, Journal of Middle Eastern and South Asian Studies, Mizan, Gramedia, etc. Dr. Sofjan is also the Owner and CEO of nglanggeran Eco Village in Gunung Kidul.
