Two LIPSSearch assistants, Ghofur Alhaj Ardli (Student Number: I72219040) and Rizbar Bara Ryamizard (Student Number: I92219090) joined JISIERA Camp on 1st to 2nd July 2022. JISIERA Camp was a coursework activity, held in collaboration between INSIERA (the Indonesian Islamic Studies and International Relations Association) and LIPSSearch to equip students with the publication skill of e-journal and implementing the skill into practice by publishing four editions of JISIERA (the Journal of Islamic Studies and International Relations). This activity was fully funded by INSIERA while the students could get practical skills related to academic journal publication.
The camp took place at Great Diponegoro Hotel, Diponegoro Street No. 215 Surabaya, for two days. It begun with Webinar held by Association of Indonesia International Relations Studies (AIHII) entitled “Brain Storming with Journal Management Officials and Solution by JournalStories” and followed by various educative and working activities. The students presented religious sermon and joined night congregation prayer with the lecturer so that they did not gain material skill only, but also spiritual “charging”. [Rep. M. Qobidl A.A.]
