LAUNCH OF NEW STUDENT ADMISSION SERVICE AGENCY, RECTOR: ALL ACADEMIC SERVICES MUST BE DIGITALIZED

UINSA Newsroom, Saturday (12/09/2023); The Follow-up Action Plan (RTL) and Determination of Decision Results became the closing agenda with UINSA Surabaya Rector. This included the Launching of the New Student Admission Service Agency on Saturday, December 9, 2023.

In the routine activities of the Academic Division scheduled from Thursday to Saturday, December 7-9, 2023, in Yogyakarta, the Rector reiterated the importance of implementing digital marketing in the higher education institutional socialization process. Although conventional socialization policy interventions are still needed at some strategic points, this includes the digitalization of all types of academic transactions in higher education.

“All our academic transactions should not involve manual processes. Everything must be digitized so that we can store, process, and reproduce academic information for various purposes,” said Prof. Muzakki.

The Rector highlighted the general weakness in branding Religious Higher Education Institutions (PTKI), especially for the current generation Z needs. “Our significant problem is always ensuring that what we convey is relevant to the needs and preferences of our students today,” added Prof. Muzakki.

Additionally, the Rector emphasized that the Launching of the New Student Admission Service Agency will ensure better management of new student admissions. Abdullah Rofiq Mas’ud, SK., MM., the appointed Head of the Agency, sought support from all parties to carry out the task effectively. “Our duty is to find students to develop our beloved UINSA,” said Abdullah Rofiq.

Present at this event were the entire management team of the AAKK and AUPK Bureaus, the Deans of Faculties, Postgraduate, and program organizers at UINSA Surabaya. Some notable points from this activity include: 1) Scheduling activities for schools conducting post-new lecturer learning; 2) Training for lecturers on post-lecturer learning strategies; 3) Overview by the Rector before the odd semester lectures; and 4) Training on the ChatGPT application and plagiarism.
