Ambition to increase student graduation on time, lecturers coordinate with thesis supervisors

Gunung Anyar, Sidoarjo — (14/09/2023) In connection with efforts to encourage student graduation on time, lecturers from the Faculty of Psychology and Health (FPK) discussed the new rules of Ministerial Regulation Number 53 of 2023. This activity was held on 12 September 2023 with a duration of approximately one hour, from 11.00 to 12.00 in the meeting room on the 1st floor of the FPK building.

The activity was opened with the Dean’s direction regarding the implementation of PERMENDIKBUDRISTEK Number 53 of 2023 related to the simplification of accreditation, student final assignments, and so on.

Dr. Phil Khoirun Niam as Dean of FPK emphasized that the existence of this new regulation does not affect students’ On-Time Graduation “Don’t let the implementation of the new PERMENDIKBUDRISTEK Number 53 of 2023 affect the On-Time Graduation (KTW) indicator, this KTW indicator must be maximized of course while maintaining existing quality.” he said.

Followed by an explanation of the condition of final students who are in the process of supervising and writing their final assignment or thesis by Dr. Lufiana Harnany Utami, S.Pd., M.Si as Head of the Psychology Study Program.

Syafruddin Faisal Thohar, M.Psi., Psychologist as Secretary of the Study Program then explained the latest guidance flow and process, before discussing the final assignment supervision process which was directly led by Dr. Suryani, S.Ag, S.Psi, M.Si as Deputy Dean I was closing.
