Asembagus, Situbondo December 29, 2022. The Information Systems Study Program of the Faculty of Science and Technology of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya was a resource person at the training and socialization of Integrated Waste Management Sites (TPST) based on website and mobile applications called PATERAK at the Asembagus Village Office, Asembagus District, Situbondo Regency, East Java.

The process of working on the application lasted 3 months starting from the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities that were carried out in October 2022 with all village officials and the Asembagus village TPST team. The FGD is important to know firsthand how the application-based waste management process will be built so that it can be translated into UML (Unified Modeling Language) and then enter the application work.

The presence of the Waste Bank application is a solution to waste management in Asembagus Village, which has been a serious problem. Waste from both households and offices and businesses, especially culinary, is quite a lot and Asembagus itself does not have its own Final Disposal Site (TPA), so if it is not managed properly, it will certainly disturb the beauty and health of its citizens.
