HR Practitioner’s Message to Semester 7 Students: “Find your passion!”

Gununganyar, Sidoarjo — (04/09/2023) Students as part of the agents of change must have high fighting power to achieve their dreams. The UINSA Faculty of Psychology and Health collaborates with an industrial psychologist to give lectures related to Psychological Services in the industrial world.

This guest lecture was held in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Psychology and Health, at 9.00 WIB. The guest lecture opened with a reading of Al-Fatihah by Drs. H. Jainuddin, M.Si as moderator.

“Find Your Passion!” As an interesting start to this activity, Eko Wahyu Cahyono, M.Psi., Psychologist invited the audience to find their passion in life. With a strong desire you can create talent, and with good talent you can create impressive performance.

The resource person, who works as an industrial psychologist, provided extensive insight into the basics of the industrial world. From personal values, motivation, Human Resources (HR), HR development, to emphasizing the importance of developing soft skills and hard skills.

The man wearing the blue batik also provided an understanding of the importance of individual mindset in the world of work. “I want to inject spiritual values into industry,” said the author of the book The Power of Gratitude.

The guest lecture with the theme Psychological Services in the Industrial World received a positive response from the audience. This activity closed with giving gifts to the speakers and taking selfies together.
