The Information Systems Study Program, in collaboration with PT. Sevima, a national IT company, organized a seminar titled “Sevima Goes to Campus” on August 25, 2023. The event, held at the Gunung Anyar Campus of UINSA, was attended by Information Systems students, particularly those in their 5th semester and above.
The seminar featured two speakers: Anyndia Novinta Putri, Talent Acquisition at Sevima, and Samuel Hasaja Putra, UI/UX Designer at Sevima. The aim of the seminar was to prepare future graduates for rapid employment in the workforce. “This event will equip participants with practical skills such as how to create a good resume and other experiences to increase their chances of being quickly accepted into the industry,” explained Anyndia.
The second speaker, Samuel, presented equally engaging material on how to create appealing UI/UX in the competitive information technology industry. Samuel shared tricks commonly used to solve design problems to achieve the best user experience.
In her opening remarks, the Head of the Information Systems Study Program, Dwi Rolliawati, stated that this event is crucial for students to gain best practice experiences directly from industry practitioners. The event was engaging and interactive, thanks to the door prizes prepared by the committee.
