VICE RECTOR FOR STUDENT AFFAIRS AND COOPERATION LEADS THE MEETING ON THE UNIVERSITY SOCIAL MEDIA DEVELOPMENT
UINSA Newsroom, Tuesday (12/12/2023): To enhance the university branding, State Islamic University of Sunan Ampel Surabaya (UINSA) is continually improving the university’s social media. One initiative that UINSA does is making the university website accessible for everyone by using international languages (e.g. Arabic & English).
The meeting was held on Monday, December 12, 2023 by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Cooperation in the Meeting Room on the third floor of Tower Tengku Ismail Yakub A. Yani Campus No. 117, Surabaya. It discussed the enhancement of the university’s online presence. The meeting was attended by the Head of the Language Development Center and Team, the PUSTIPD Team, the International Office, and the Cooperation, Institutional, and Public Relations Team (KKH).
The Vice Rector 3, Prof. Dr. Abdul Muhid, M.Si. explained that the Rector of UINSA instructed that the university website should use at least three languages – Indonesian, English, and Arabic. For implementing this, Prof. Muhid said that “there should be collaboration with the related units, including obtaining blue ticks for social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, etc.” The meeting proceeded smoothly and each person in charge did the action immediately to follow up the agreement.
