Surabaya, May 21, 2025 – A proud moment for the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Ampel (UINSA) Surabaya, as ten outstanding students from the International Relations program successfully took part in the Student Mobility 2025 Program, held on May 19–23 at the National Defence University of Malaysia (Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia).

These students proudly represented UINSA in a dynamic international environment, engaging in cross-cultural dialogues, academic exchanges, and diplomatic simulations that reflect real-world global challenges. The program provided valuable insight into the role of youth in international cooperation and peace-building efforts.
Throughout the five-day program, participants took part in lectures, institutional visits, cultural activities, and collaborative forums with students from various ASEAN countries. The experience has not only expanded their academic perspectives but also strengthened their global networks and soft diplomacy skills.
“This was more than just an academic trip — it was an opportunity to experience diplomacy firsthand, meet peers from different nations, and prepare ourselves for global engagement,” shared one of the participants.
FISIP UINSA is proud of its International Relations students for their active role in shaping a more connected and cooperative future. Their participation underscores the faculty’s commitment to fostering globally competent graduates ready to take part in international dialogues and policy-making arenas.
