The 5th Sunan Ampel International Conference of Political and Social Sciences (SAICoPSS) 2025

"Navigating Conflict and Building Resilience: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Society, Power, and Global Sustainability"

The Sunan Ampel International Conference of Political and Social Sciences (SAICoPSS) is an annual public event designed to facilitate academic presentations on social, political and religious issues relevant to the conference’s theme. It also aims to promote collaboration between academics and professionals, to foster ongoing knowledge exchange and discussion about contemporary issues.

The conference features two main sessions: (1) Plenary session where experts discuss the conference’s central theme; and (2) Parallel sessions where presenters share and discuss their research, exchange ideas and perspectives on issues related to the main theme.

Hosted by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya (UINSA), the conference is conducted virtually through the Zoom Webinar Platform. Presenters are encouraged to contribute to both the conference and publications.

The conference welcomes papers from diverse disciplines, perspectives, and geographical areas, focusing on the development of multidisciplinary and inclusive knowledge. It provides a platform not only for academics to analyze political and social phenomena, but also for stakeholders from both academic and professional sectors to engage in broad intellectual discourse.
