Professor of Communication Studies, Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. Have an lecturer certificate (Certified Professional Lecturer by Ministry of Education), Research involvement with students as thesis supervisors and doctoral dissertation examiners. Collaborative research with lecturers and received a research “grant” from the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Interest in research: Communication Science; Intercultural Communication, Organizational Communication, Social Communication, Mass Communication, Journalism, Da’wah Communication, and Media Text Research.
Job experience: 2022 – Present, Secretary at the Magister of Communication and Islamic Broadcasting Study Program. 2013 – 2018, Vice dean of student affairs and cooperation at Faculty of Dakwah and Communication UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. 2006 – 2013, Head of the Communication Science Study Program, Faculty of Da’wah, IAIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. 2004 – 2006, Head of the AudioVisual Laboratory at Da’wah Faculty, IAIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. 1998 – Present, Lecturer at Faculty of Da’wa and Communication, Sunan Ampel State Islamic University.
